Here you can find 31 interviews with 9 survivors of Sobibor and 22 next of kin to people murdered in this Nazi destruction camp. The interviewees currently live in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United States, Australia, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, and Poland. These, possibly ultimate, testimonials are far more than recollections of camp life only. In so-called life stories interviewees answer open questions about the world they left behind. Shorter interviews about camp life often overlook the fact that people had different backgrounds and thus tried to survive with different dispositions.
